• Four Winds Acupuncture Clinic is a SCENT-FREE Zone. Due to increasing sensitivities of clients and staff, please refrain from wearing essential oils, perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, etc. to our office. If you arrive wearing these items, we will not be able to see you and your appointment will be rescheduled.

 

• If you are a smoker, please refrain from smoking 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Smoke lingers on clothing and in the lungs. When you smoke prior to your appointment, it fills the waiting room and treatment rooms, causing allergic/sensitivity reactions in some of our clients and staff. There is no smoking allowed on the property (this includes the parking lot).

 

• For all of our new patients/clients, please make sure that you have filled out your intake paperwork prior to your initial visit. If you cannot do this, you must arrive at our office 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time in order to fill out this paperwork.

 

• Cell phone usage is not permitted inside the clinic.  We request that all cell phones be turned off prior to entering the clinic. you must make or receive a call, we ask that you do this outside of the building.  We make every attempt to create a peaceful, quiet, and nurturing environment. If you use electronic devices to watch videos or play games, we request that you use headphones.     

 

 

For Acupuncture patients:

 

You must be on time for your appointment! This is not like many   Western physician's offices where you may wait up to 2 or 3 hours to see the doctor. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment regardless of whether you are a new or existing patient, you will not be seen unless there is wiggle room in our schedule. If you know you are going to be late, please call our office to see if other arrangements can be made. There is a tremendous amount of diagnostic evaluation involved in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and for new patients there simply is no "cutting the time short." This is not simply a process of "putting in a few pins." If your appointment begins late, this will set a domino effect in motion and cause a backup for the entire day. As a result of increasing waiting room jam-ups due to late arrivals, we are enforcing this policy.  

 

Out of respect for all of our patients and clinicians, we want to provide you with the best possible healing experience.  These policies are put in place to ensure that Four Winds Acupuncture Clinic continues to provide the community with a harmonious, nurturing, and peaceful healing environment.
